The beer pub "Bakushu-ya Pogology" in Andoji-cho, Chuo Ward, Osaka City, will host its chicken-focused event "Tori Jiro" starting at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26. Inside the shop, it will put together a one-night-only food lineup centered on chicken, including charcoal-grilled yakitori, small dishes, and fried items, to be enjoyed alongside craft beer.

In addition to domestic breweries, New Zealand's Behemoth is included, making it a lineup that invites side-by-side tasting. In particular, it will feature sought-after labels from popular breweries such as Oni Densetsu, Nara Brewing, Shiga Kogen Beer, WEST COAST BREWING, Brasserie Knot, and Minoh Beer.

It has standing counter seating as well as table seating, so you can casually drop in for a drink, while reservation-only courses are also available on event days. The setup is very much in Bakushu-ya Pogology's style, with chicken dishes as the main attraction and draft beer to carry you through the night.
From a beer perspective, the lineup centers on hop-forward IPAs, but also includes saisons, ales, and hazy styles, making it satisfying not only as a food pairing but also for tasting. It looks like a service session well suited to people in central Osaka who want to enjoy both food and craft beer in full.
