The 19th anniversary month begins

Enibru says it will mark its 19th anniversary on July 7, and also mentions an anniversary festival on the 11th and 12th. For July, the shop is treating the month as a 19th-anniversary campaign, rolling out rare beers and special dishes throughout the period.

Featured beer

The first release in the “19th Anniversary Rare Beer Festival #01” is “RIde The Dragon,” a collaboration beer by CHORYO Craft Beer and Temescal Brewing of Oakland, California. Described as a West Coast Pilsner, it brings bright citrus notes from three hop varieties, clean acidity from white koji, and a light, crisp bitterness on the finish. It sounds like an easy match for hot-weather drinking.

Pairing with summer food

The food highlight is a luxe carpaccio of conger eel and pen shell scallop. The dish combines blanched seasonal conger eel and seared scallop with water eggplant, shishito peppers, okra, and other summer vegetables, finished with a special sauce made from plum paste, egg yolk, and soy sauce, plus the aroma of Japanese pepper. It is built to complement the beer without overwhelming it.

Located on the basement floor, about a two-minute walk from Nakamozu Station, Enibru feels like a place made for slow, focused drinking rather than a rushed stop. If you want to follow the anniversary beers and July-only dishes, this is the kind of campaign worth revisiting more than once.
