CARVAAN Brewery & Restaurant, the brewpub operated by CARVAAN Brewery in Hanno, Saitama, is set to release a limited beer named NIKOTAMA PRIDE on August 6. The project was created in collaboration with Tokyu Foodshow and is designed as a special beer for Futako-Tamagawa.

The beer’s aroma is led by Australian lemon myrtle, which gives it a vivid citrus character. That bright note is layered with lime-like freshness and a clean hop structure, resulting in a crisp, easy-drinking profile. It is the kind of beer that fits a relaxed lunch or an evening drink without feeling heavy.

CARVAAN’s home base in Hanno is a brewpub built on a cliff in a valley, surrounded by nature. The brewery emphasizes drinking beer unfiltered, close to where it is made. That setting helps explain the character of NIKOTAMA PRIDE: a beer tied to a specific place name, but still unmistakably CARVAAN, with a sense of freshness and cross-cultural flair.

The rollout begins at Tokyu Foodshow in Futako-Tamagawa, with more sales locations expected to be added later. For beer drinkers looking for a seasonal, place-specific release, this is a noteworthy one to watch.
