A lime-forward limited fruit lager

MOKICHI CRAFTBEER in Fujisawa is pouring Shonan Beer’s Lime Session. It is a fruit lager at 3.5% ABV, designed around the refreshing acidity and juicy fruit character of lime, with a crisp, light finish that suits the hotter months.

Low alcohol, but not thin

According to the product notes, the beer was developed on top of the know-how gained from last summer’s well-received low-alcohol beer Aroma 3. It also draws on experience from Shonan Beer’s lime-based brewing work. New Zealand Motueka hops are used to echo the citrus profile, while corn helps keep the body clean and free of rough edges.

Best enjoyed in a classic beer pub

MOKICHI CRAFTBEER sits near Fujisawa Station South Exit and offers a classic beer-pub atmosphere. The venue keeps 12 taps on at all times and serves hand-stretched New York-style pizza, along with grilled and roasted dishes that are built to pair with beer. That makes Lime Session a natural fit for a meal-driven pint.

Who it suits

If you want a beer that stays approachable while still delivering clear citrus character and enough structure to feel satisfying, this limited release is an easy recommendation for the season.
