Beers tapped on November 2

Craft Beer Spot Hathor, a beer pub in Osaka’s Kyobashi area, has announced two beers for November 2. The lineup contrasts a hop-forward IPA with a rich milk stout built around roasted and sweet flavors.

Ise Kadoya Beer “Kaikin”

“Kaikin” is a single-hop IPA made exclusively with Mosaic hops. Mosaic is known for complex aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, citrus, berries, and a subtle green note—as if several hop varieties had been blended together.

The recipe was designed to bring out those qualities as fully as possible. The name “Kaikin,” meaning “unveiling,” expresses the idea of Mosaic’s character being released rather than concealed. Expect a fruit-forward aroma followed by layers of hop flavor.

Belching Beaver “Peanut Butter Milk Stout”

The second beer is Belching Beaver’s “Peanut Butter Milk Stout.” It pours a deep brown that approaches black, topped with a light-brown head. Aromas of roasted peanuts and coffee mingle with a sweet chocolate note.

Peanut butter leads on the palate, followed by chocolate sweetness and a gentle roasted-coffee character. The flavors come together in a notably balanced and well-integrated profile, making it a beer suited to slow sipping.

With bright, fruit-like hop character on one side and peanut, chocolate, and roast on the other, the two beers offer distinctly different experiences at Craft Beer Spot Hathor. Availability may change, so guests should confirm the current taps before visiting.
