A varied draft lineup at Hathor

CraftBeerSpot Hathor, a beer pub located in Higashinoda-cho, Osaka, has updated its draft beer list for November 1. The lineup covers a broad range of styles, making it suitable for both easy-drinking lager fans and drinkers looking for more expressive craft beers.

The newly tapped beers include Yebisu from Sapporo Beer and Shimanami Silky Lager from Shimanami Brewery. Yebisu is presented as a premium lager brewed with 100% malt, Yebisu yeast, Bavarian aroma hops and extended maturation, delivering a full malt character and a rich finish. Shimanami Silky Lager blends Canadian and German malts with wheat malt, combining a refreshing profile with a smooth, silky mouthfeel.

Hop character, fruit notes and a distinctive stout

The recommended beer list features Karl Strauss’ Mosaic Session IPA. Double dry-hopping brings grapefruit aroma, citrus and tropical fruit flavors, while the use of wheat gives the beer a light body and crisp finish. At 5.5% ABV, it is positioned as a highly drinkable IPA.

Varietal’s Introspectre offers a denser hop experience. Nectaron and Citra contribute stone-fruit and tropical-fruit notes, while triple dry-hopping with Citra intensifies its juicy, dank citrus character. Despite its 7.7% ABV, the beer is described as smooth and polished.

The wider tap list includes Crispy Cozy Minoh Mash, a collaboration between Deschutes and Minoh Beer; T.Y. Harbor’s Berry Wheat; Minoh Beer’s Pale Ale Real Ale Ver; and Memory Field, a collaboration between Nara Brewing and Flora Fermentation.

For fruit-forward drinkers, Island Brewery’s Strawberry Sour Ale offers a lower-ABV sour option. The IPA section also includes BareBottle’s That’s Dangerous, Minoh Beer’s KANSHA 29 and Mosaic Session IPA. Rounding out the selection is Kurikuro from Miyazaki Hideji Beer, a 9.0% stout-based black beer brewed with Miyazaki chestnuts and roasted barley. Its profile combines coffee-like roast, elegant chestnut aroma and substantial body.

With lagers, wheat beers, pale ales, IPAs and a robust black beer all available, Hathor’s November 1 taps offer plenty of room for comparison. Guests should check the pub’s latest updates before visiting, as draft availability may change.
