Craft Beer Spot Hathor, a beer pub in Osaka’s Kyobashi area, has announced four new draft beer openings.
The lineup includes Edel Pils from Sapporo Beer, Doctor’s Lemon Weizen from Twin Peaks Mountain in Ibaraki, Dream Junior from Trapdoor in the United States, and Imperial Stout 2023 from Daisen G Beer in Tottori.
The highlight is the chance to compare Imperial Stout 2023 with Imperial Stout 2025, which is already on tap. Tasting the two vintages side by side should offer an interesting look at how time affects the beer’s character.
The full draft list features 12 beers. Other taps include Strike Pilsner from Shimanami Brewery, Watermelon Head from Nara Brewing, Pale Ale Real Ale ver from Beer Herun, Passionate Red Sour IPA from Ise Kadoya Brewery, The Glitch from Nobody, House IPA Real Ale ver from Shiga Kogen Beer, and Karl Strauss’ 37th Anniversary Golden Ale.
Hathor is also serving a recent off-menu dish, bak kut teh noodles, along with cheese steak made with round eggplant and pork-and-parsley rillettes. These dishes may pair particularly well with the richer Imperial Stouts.
With a rotating selection of domestic and international draft beers, Hathor is a destination for beer drinkers exploring Osaka’s tap scene. The pub opens from 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 3 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Availability may change, so guests should check with the pub before visiting.
