Tokyo∞kei Releases New Beers “Tamatama” and “Hitoiki,” Two Labels Connecting Toward Omori Station’s 150th Anniversary
At the beer pub Tokyo∞kei in Omori, Tokyo, the new beers “Tamatama” and “Hitoiki” have debuted. Following the Omori Station 150th anniversary beer series and the Oimachi Tracks opening commemorative beer, they are being released as part of the My Fan series, which colors the “in-between” period leading up to Omori Station’s 150th anniversary on June 12, 2026.
Release Overview
Tokyo∞kei is a beer pub located on the 3rd floor of Hakkenzaka Building, 2-2-7 Sanno, Ota Ward, Tokyo. Guided by the idea of creating a place where people can connect through beer, this latest release clearly reflects that stance.
Two New Releases
The two beers introduced this time are “Tamatama” and “Hitoiki.” They were launched during the bridging period leading up to Omori Station’s 150th anniversary on June 12, 2026, following the Omori Station 150th anniversary beer series that had been running until just before this, and the Oimachi Tracks opening commemorative beer.
What Is the My Fan Series?
The “My Fan” series is a group of beers born from a mind-funding campaign held to establish Tokyo∞kei’s beer garden. Built on the idea of gathering not only funds but feelings as well, the beers created together with supporters are being released one by one.
“Tamatama” and “Hitoiki”
The title of the first beer, “Tamatama,” came from a conversation with Noe, who also works as a writer at the Omori Machizukuri Cafe. What stands out is how the name turns the feeling of accepting coincidence, and the words that emerge through dialogue, directly into a beer name.
The other beer, “Hitoiki,” also has a name that evokes the space to pause amid the flow of everyday life, making it a label that feels very much like Tokyo∞kei, which looks at the turning points of the station and changes in the town. Rather than foregrounding flashy limited-edition appeal, it is a release that makes you want to drink it together with the town's time.
For anyone who wants to enjoy craft beer around Omori Station, Tokyo∞kei's appeal lies in the stories tied to local happenings as well. These two labels are also something to savor with that kind of local context in mind.
