Kuninocho Beer, based in Takatsuki, Osaka, shared a weekend event update on Instagram. In the post, the brewery thanked visitors who stopped by its booth at the recent Takatsuki Festival and announced an appearance at the Ujibashi-dori Shopping Street Craft Beer Night Market on Saturday, August 8.
The night market will run from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the brewery says the lineup will be larger than in previous years. Kuninocho Beer also plans to offer a special limited beer. On the same day, Kuronomi will be open from noon to 5:00 p.m. (last order 4:30 p.m.).
On Sunday, August 9, Kuronomi will host a "Special Sunday" live event featuring the Cuban music duo Dos Sones de Corazones and special dancers. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last order 4:30 p.m.) with free admission, a one-order minimum, and a tip-based system. Food may be brought in as usual, but alcohol is not permitted.
As a brewery rooted in Takatsuki, Kuninocho Beer continues to connect local festivals, neighborhood events, and its own taproom-style space, Kuronomi, with the city’s beer culture. This weekend offers two different ways to experience that approach: beer at the market on Saturday, and music at Kuronomi on Sunday.
