BEER OTAKU SPICE in Taito, Tokyo, announced the tap release alongside its lunch and evening service hours.
The featured guest beer is TDHSSR from West Coast Brewing, also known as WCB. It is a TDH Hazy TIPA made with hops including Nelson Sauvin, El Dorado, Strata and Mosaic. According to the post, the beer delivers an especially rich orange citrus aroma that bursts brightly with a slight sweetness. Its concentrated hop character makes it a compelling pour for drinkers who enjoy expressive, aromatic hazy beers.
The day’s biryani was made with tuna. The bright citrus profile of TDHSSR should make an appealing partner for the spice driven dish, adding lift while refreshing the palate between bites. It can also be enjoyed on its own, allowing the layered hop aroma to unfold slowly in the glass.
Lunch service runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. last order, while evening service runs from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. last order. Located at 1-8-5 Taito, BEER OTAKU SPICE is a beer pub known for pairing craft beer with biryani and other spice focused dishes. A lunchtime tuna biryani and TDHSSR pairing or a slower evening tasting both fit the character of this compact neighborhood beer spot.
