Marumugi, a beer pub in Arakicho, Shinjuku, shared its craft beer lineup for July 25. The standard pricing is ¥1,200+ for the large size and ¥900+ for the small size, with an additional ¥100 surcharge on selected beers.

The centerpiece of the list is MEET² (Meat & Meat) from Baird Brewing x Shibataya Saketen. It is a Session IPA built around rye-driven spice and dark malt depth, layered with grapefruit, lemon, and berry-like hop aromatics. The beer is clearly positioned as a match for meat dishes.

For something fruitier, Marumugi is also pouring Akita no Momo no Sour from HOPDOG BREWING. At 3.5% ABV, it is described as a dry, refreshing beer with the aroma of Akita peaches, making it an easy early pick on a hot day.

If you want a crisp, hop-led option, Cool Breeze Pils from Baird Brewing is on the board as well. This summer-only Bohemian pils is built to showcase clean hop freshness and the grainy sweetness of malt. On the darker side, Schwarz from Baeren Brewery offers roasted malt aroma with a surprisingly light finish, making it approachable even for drinkers who do not usually reach for black beer.

To finish, Shukuhai IPA from Romanchic Village Craft Brewery brings a juicy profile with peach and grape notes at 6.7% ABV. As a beer tied to a 30th-anniversary celebration, it adds a more festive note to the lineup.

Marumugi is located on the second floor of Ichibankan Building at 1 Arakicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo. The pub is closed on Tuesdays and national holidays, and it is a good stop when you want to compare distinct tap beers at an unhurried pace.
