Spin-off Aging Beer Event Linked to Mugizakkoku Kobo to Be Held at Two Venues on April 11
A spin-off event derived from the popular "Beer to Share" project hosted by Mugizakkoku Kobo will take place on April 11. The venues are Sabaratora Shuhan and Sakura Taps. It is a ticket-based event with no reservation required, where you can enjoy aged beers by the glass starting from one pour.
Information has been released for "Beer to Share SPIN-OFF," an event connected to the Mugizakkoku Kobo Microbrewery in Ogawa, Saitama.
According to the post, the event will be held on Saturday, April 11, from 13:00. The venues are Sabaratora Shuhan and Sakura Taps, and visitors can move freely between the two locations.
In this spin-off, in addition to the beers served at the main "Beer to Share" event, Sabaratora Shuhan is also planning to offer its usual selection of large-bottle aged beers. The lineup is also said to differ between the two venues, making the tasting route especially appealing. Breweries scheduled to participate include Mugizakkoku Kobo, Minoh Beer, Hansharo Beer, AJB Co, Shiga Kogen Beer, and Caved'Occi.
It is also announced that Mr. and Mrs. Suzuki from Mugizakkoku Kobo are expected to visit on the day. Having a chance to talk directly with the people who make the beer is one of the special values of a craft beer event.
Based in Ogawa Town, the event host Mugizakkoku Kobo is a brewery well regarded for expressions that make use of aging. Expanding opportunities like this, where you can enjoy aged beer by the glass at outside venues as well, gives people a chance to experience the brewery's context as an event. Since no reservation is required and it is ticket-based, why not start with whatever beer catches your eye on the day?
