Maki Kaze Ale newly tapped at Kobe Motomachi OnTap, 7 varieties served from 3 p.m. on Sunday
Kobe Motomachi beer pub "Beer Space OnTap" updated its latest tap information on March 22, 2026. The new tap is ISINOMAKI HOP WORKS' Maki Kaze Ale. That day, as part of its weekend hours, the bar opened at 3 p.m. and served seven beers, centered on domestic breweries.
At Beer Space OnTap in the basement of Kobe Plaza Hotel on Motomachi-dori in Chuo Ward, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, the tap list post "Sunday, the final day of the long holiday..." was published on Sunday, March 22.
That day's new tap was ISINOMAKI HOP WORKS' "Maki Kaze Ale". In the post, it is introduced as an American Pale Ale with ABV 5% and IBU 30, and is said to feature citrus notes and a fresh aroma from hops grown in-house, along with a balance of lightness and body. It is designed to work well both as an easy first pint and as a beer to pair with food.
The Today's on Tap lineup announced alongside it was as follows.
- ISINOMAKI HOP WORKS / Maki Kaze Ale
- OUR BREWING / Magic Flavour
- ONE's Brewery / '燻'けるしゅ
- Edel Pils
- Tamba-ji Brewery / Ouka Ranman
- SOUTH HORIZON BREWING / All Aboard
- HIROSHIMA NOH BREWERY / Hassaku Saison
The post also said that Hassaku Saison was "on kick-out watch," so anyone interested should probably stop by soon. The Saturday-and-Sunday 3 p.m. opening style is also a welcome point for beer fans who want to relax and drink from the afternoon. In the calm atmosphere of the basement space, this Sunday tap lineup offers a chance to compare everything from a classic pale ale to a beer with seasonal character.
