The first release on the road to Omori Station's 150th anniversary

OMORI FAN CLUB <Brewing Dept.>, which operates Tokyo∞kei, has recently continued releasing beers tied to milestones, including the Omori Station 150th anniversary beer series and the commemorative beer for the opening of Oimachi Tracks. "HIRAKU" is the first release launched within that flow. As the year of Omori Station's 150th anniversary approaches, the series begins with the name "HIRAKU," meaning "open," marking the entrance to the lineup.

What kind of beer is it?

HIRAKU is a golden ale. Its alcohol content is 5.0%, and it uses Southern Cross for dry hopping. In the introduction, it is described as a beer you can also taste bitterness in, with an IBU of around 35, resulting in a cup that is not only light, but also has a satisfying outline. The naming, which layers on an image of a station door opening and moving through the ticket gates toward the next place, also well expresses the intent of the series.

What it means to drink it at Tokyo∞kei

Tokyo∞kei is a beer pub on the 3rd floor of Hakkesaka Building, a 1-minute walk from the west exit of JR Omori Station. In addition to a casual standing-bar style where you can enjoy craft beer easily, it also offers live music, various events, and a terrace beer garden. The appeal unique to this place is being able to enjoy a drink that lets you feel the memories of the area and the presence of people while looking out over the scenery in front of the station.
