"Suisei" is a flavored beer made with green lemons from Kishiwada. It is also designed to pair well with year-end and New Year gatherings as well as home parties.

There is a story behind the name as well. The product description says the sound of "Suisui" in "Suisei" comes from "comet" (suisei) and was inspired by the "Lemon Comet" newly discovered in the United States in January 2025. "Sui" represents the green lemon, while "sei" is paired with the December seasonal term "winter clear sky," expressing a clear, winterlike drinking profile.

Kishiwada Beer is based in Kishiwada, Osaka, and operates as a brewery that grew out of Hokkai Iron Works. On its official website, the company emphasizes that it has advanced its craft beer brewing by making use of manufacturing technology cultivated over many years, with its own in-house design and production equipment. This seasonal "Suisei," which makes use of locally sourced ingredients, seems likely to be one of the clearest expressions of that approach.
