Hathor in Osaka Taps Sansho Lager and Nine More Beers
CraftBeerSpot Hathor in Osaka has announced its September 24 tap list, featuring 10 beers including Ise Kadoya Beer’s Sansho Lager, Kinoni Pale Ale Galaxy Ver, Shiga Kogen Beer’s Ikkyoryoutoku, and several strong, hop-forward selections.
September 24 tap highlights
The featured pour is Sansho Lager from Ise Kadoya Beer. It has a pale straw color with a slight haze, grapefruit and citrus hop aromas, and a fresh, spicy sansho character. The finish is dry and crisp, with a tingling sensation closer to sansho’s numbing spice than heat. Citrus notes from both the pepper and hops linger, making it a natural match for food.
On the ale side, Onidensetsu Beer offers Kinoni Pale Ale Galaxy Ver and Kinoni Pale Ale Real Ale Ver. The Galaxy version brings citrus, peach, and passion-fruit aromas, backed by firm bitterness and a punchy profile.
Shiga Kogen Beer’s Ikkyoryoutoku combines the brewer’s imagined qualities of a hazy beer and a saison. Revision’s Critical Saturation delivers a fruit-forward hazy double IPA built around Dolcita and Mosaic hops, while Ise Kadoya’s Nikukyu IPA Returns adds another hop-driven option.
The list also includes Dr. Kölsch from Twin Peaks Mountain, Minamishinsyu Beer’s 30th Pale Ale, Karl Strauss’s 37th Anniversary Golden Ale at 9.6% ABV, and two vintages of Daisen G Beer Imperial Stout from 2023 and 2025.
With 16 taps and house-smoked food, Hathor offers a broad range for the evening, from crisp lager and citrusy pale ale to hazy IPA and rich imperial stout.
