The craft beer bar "BEERDOCK" in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, will host a pairing event in collaboration with NORA Bar. In an Instagram post, the bar introduced it as a small, limited-capacity event that begins with a brewery tour of BEERDOCK and, if the timing works out, includes a tasting of beer in the middle of the brewing process.

BEERDOCK is a standing bar that reopened in the Inadazutsumi area in April 2025. Its predecessor was the in-house brewery "Inadazutsumi Beer Brewery," and it continues to build itself around craft beer. According to the venue information, more than 7 to 8 taps are always connected, and one of its features is the ability to enjoy a wide range of styles such as IPA, stout, and sour ale.

A major appeal of this event is that attendees can experience the brewing background behind BEERDOCK. In the first half of the gathering, participants will tour the brewery, and after that, they will enjoy food from NORA Bar paired with four carefully selected beers. It is designed not just for drinking, but for savoring aroma, temperature, and how the beers complement the food.

The event will be held on Wednesday, May 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The participation fee is 6,500 yen (tax included), and capacity is limited to the first five people. After 5:00 p.m., the venue will switch to regular business hours, so guests can continue enjoying beer in the bar after the event. Reservations are accepted via Instagram DM, and the deadline is Monday, May 4. It looks like a compact but richly packed event where you can enjoy both a BEERDOCK-style drink and a food experience in Kawasaki.
