Two new kegs in Inage-Kaigan

WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Chiba’s Inage-Kaigan added two new draft beers on August 10, the Monday before its regular closing day. The new arrivals are 8 bit x Harland’s The Hop Exchange and Yellow Beer Works’ Merry go round (ichigo ver.).

The Hop Exchange is a DDH New Zealand West Coast IPA built around New Zealand hops. The beer is described with aromas of white grape, passion fruit, and grapefruit, plus lemon-lime and red berry notes, finishing dry while still delivering a clear hop presence.

Merry go round (ichigo ver.) is a sour ale that blends strawberry character with lactic acidity. Lactose adds a soft sweetness, and the finish brings a herbal hop note, making it more layered than a simple fruit sour.

The day’s tap list also includes GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, West Coast Brewing Full Hop Alchemist r9, Societe The Dagger, Yuya Boys Flower Children/Lotus, and Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA. In other words, the bar offers a wide spread from familiar classics to IPA, hazy, and sour styles.

MIHAMA BASE also offers bottle and can takeout, with reservations available. It is closed on Tuesdays and open from 17:00 to 25:00, making it a solid stop for beer drinkers looking for something new on tap.
