At STAND SEVENs (Matsuchika Town) in Matsuyama City, 'ISEKADO WEEK' will begin on Friday, April 24. The event was announced by Garyu Brewing, a craft beer brewery in Ozu City, Ehime Prefecture. In its post, the brewery said that Ise Kadoya Beer (Mie) will take over the taps, and that visitors can enjoy not only labels such as 'Nekonihiki' and 'Pale Ale,' but also rare beers that are not usually easy to find.

On Saturday, April 25, Ise Kadoya Beer Brewery Master Zenichi Deguchi is scheduled to visit Matsuyama. One of the features of this event is the chance to drink while talking directly with a brewing professional. Garyu Brewing will also have plenty of its own beers ready, creating a lineup that allows guests to compare them with Ise Kadoya Beer.

Garyu Brewing is a brewery based in the red-brick warehouse in Ozu City known as the former Hoden Silk Cocoon Warehouse site. It evolved into its current form with the goals of brewing beer together with people with disabilities and of making handmade beer with local specialty ingredients using its own hands. This project, in which a locally rooted brewery welcomes a popular brewery from another region, is likely to draw significant attention in Matsuyama's craft beer scene as well.
