Draft lineup

Beer Cafe Ninkasi / BEER CAFE NINKASI, a beer pub in Fujimidai, Kunitachi, Tokyo, posted its draft lineup on June 15. Although the shop is usually closed on Mondays, it announced that it would open on its normal hours that day and close the following day, June 16.

The list is led by Black Tide / Hoya Boya, a hazy IPA from Miyagi. Other drafts on tap include Shiga Kogen Beer / KASUMI, a hazy session IPA; Horsehead Loves / Kambara Ale, a DDH IPA; Sankt Gallen / Pineapple Ale, a fruit ale; and Green Brewery / Akaposto IPA, a red IPA. Also on the board were Swan Lake Beer x BET / Nagi, a kölsch; Daisen G Beer / Weizenbock; Locobeer x Joya-to Living / Try It!, an ordinary bitter; and Kirin Beer / Braumeister. The spread makes it easy to compare different hop profiles, yeast-driven styles, and classic lager character at one stop.

Ninkasi also listed wines, including Montelvini / Regandino rosé sparkling, Carmel et Joseph Sauvignon Blanc, and Carmel et Joseph Malbec. That broader drink list fits a venue that serves as a neighborhood beer pub as well as a place to eat and linger.

Coming soon, the post also previewed Isekadoya Beer / Neko Ni Hiki, a hazy double IPA, and T.Y. Harbor / Imperial Stout. For beer fans around Kunitachi, it is a useful snapshot of what is pouring now and what is likely to arrive next.
