Camado Brewery HAKOFUNE Announces West Coast IPA and Apple Cider on This Week's Tap List
Camado Brewery HAKOFUNE, a brewpub in Mizunami, Gifu Prefecture, announced “This Week at Hakofune.” In addition to a tap list that includes the last keg of a West Coast IPA, it also announced a double tap takeover in Kyoto on May 31 and an in-house performance.

The first thing that stands out in this lineup is that THE DANK LOVERS West Coast IPA 7.0% on tap 1 is designated as the “last keg,” after which it will switch to Kiln Ash West Coast IPA 6.0%. The lineup is structured around West Coast IPAs with a clear hop profile, linked together within the same style family.
Other taps include Shukuen III Fake Lager 5.5%, Toki Apple Cider 5.0%, Shimakama Pale Ale 5.0%, OFF BELAY Hazy Pale Ale 5.0%, and Baker's Brew #1 The Beginning of the Journey - There, in the Forest Where Two Dragons Sing Finnish-style Sahti 7.0%. The range spans lager, cider, pale ale, hazy, and sahti, making this a lineup that invites tasting comparisons.
Also, on Sunday, May 31, a double tap takeover with NAMACHA Brewing is scheduled at CRAFT HOUSE KYOTO in Kyoto. The HAKOFUNE main store will operate as usual, and a performance is also announced from 12:00 to 17:00. It looks like a week to enjoy craft beer while also taking in the atmosphere and events that change from day to day.
