You can savor a dense, richly layered glass of rauch doppelbock at the close-up range only a beer pub can offer.
The Spring Lager Project Gets Underway
At the beer pub CRAFT BEER BASE BUD, located on Basement Floor 2 of Osaka Station Front Building No. 1, the "Spring Lager Festival!!" begins on April 18. The featured beer for the first week is "Onmenbroi!!", a collaboration between Baeren Brewery x HIGHBURY.
A Big Romantic Dose of Rauch Doppelbock
This beer is designed as a rauch doppelbock. It uses rauch malt for 65% of the grist, and all of the hops are German, giving it a sturdy, classic framework. It is also brewed with a traditional coolship that chills the wort using cold outdoor air, making it especially notable as a beer made with equipment that still exists and is in operation at Baeren Brewery.
Dense from the First Glass, But the Options Are Wide
The shop is placing a particularly distinctive beer at the start of this lager festival, while also saying it will offer "crisp, sharp, picture-book beer" as well. From a deeply smoky, malty glass to a clean-drinking lager, it should be a chance to enjoy a wide range of styles.
Service will be offered with LUKR NostalgieTAP. Located close to Umeda's underground shopping area, the shop is easy to drop into after work or while out shopping, making it a place beer lovers following seasonal projects will want to keep an eye on. At the gateway to spring, this is the place to go and check the depth of lager.
