Matsumoto Brewery announced at 14:00 on May 27 that it will hold “Brewery Festival 2025.” The event will take place at Nomizo Brewery, located at 2-11-20 Nomizo Nishi, Matsumoto City, from 11:00 to 17:00 on June 1.

On the day, the lineup will include standard beers, seasonal limited beers, and the “BrewDog Roppongi Collaboration IPA.” Food vendors are expected to set up multiple booths serving takoyaki, yakisoba, sausages, sanzokuyaki, charcoal-grilled pasture-raised pork, hamburgers, crepes, and more, offering plenty of pairing options.

A highlight is the brewery tour by reservation. Same-day sign-up will be accepted at the reception booth starting at 11:00, with three sessions scheduled for 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00, each limited to 20 participants. The participation fee is 1,000 yen (tax included) and includes two souvenir beers. It will be a chance to experience the brewer’s approach to production and the equipment on site.

Access is about a 10-minute walk from the Nomizoguchi bus stop on the Gurutto Matsumoto Bus Airport-Imai Line. A free shuttle bus is also being offered, with advance reservation required. There is no parking or bicycle parking available at the venue, so public transportation is expected.

Matsumoto Brewery was founded in 2016 as a craft brewery and has focused on brewing a beer that is rooted in the local community. Emphasizing its commitment to the water and local ingredients of the Matsumoto Plain, the Nomizo production site uses a 15-barrel brewing system to pursue quality. As an annual event where visitors can experience local brewery culture firsthand, this year’s festival is also likely to draw attention.

Please note that on June 1, the Nakamachi and Honmachi taprooms will be temporarily closed, while the Ekimae branch is scheduled to be open from 10:00 to 14:00.
