Chuo Line Beer Works is the JR East Group's first directly operated craft beer brewery, located under the elevated tracks between Higashi-Koganei Station and Musashi-Koganei Station on the JR Chuo Line. Its official website introduces how former station staff members work as brewers to share the appeal of the local area, and how the taproom serves the brewery's own beers along with guest beers.

In this Instagram post, the brewery announced its participation in the "5th Moto-Hachi Marche -2026-", to be held on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Hachioji Castle Ruins Outdoor Model Plaza and other nearby locations. The venue is expected to bring together 88 shops, with beer and food trucks, as well as workshops and hands-on activity corners, planned for the event.

At the event, Chuo Line Beer Works will serve its three standard beers along with the limited Poppo-ya Ale on tap. The post highlights the appeal of enjoying beer poured fresh at the moment, and suggests pairing it with food from the many vendors on site.

Payment will be limited to transportation IC cards such as Suica, credit cards, and QR code payments; cash will not be accepted. The post also directs readers to the organizer's official website and Instagram account for event information.

This new brewery, grown in Koganei City, continues to broaden its ties with the community by taking part in events beyond its home rail line. One of the main attractions this time is the pairing with event food and the chance to try a limited beer, which is different from the brewery's regular taproom service.
