New arrival highlights
Nomimonoya, a beer pub in Buzan-cho, Takamatsu, Kagawa, has added three new beers from Tsugaru Brewing. The lineup features "Arigato! Saison," "Arigato! Lager," and "Arigato! IPA," all built around local rice and each tuned to a different beer style.
The lineup
- Arigato! Saison
A saison that highlights yeast character. Rice from Tsugaru City in Aomori adds a clean finish and a deeper grain profile. The recipe also uses pilsner malt, wheat, and the hops Warrior, Hallertau Mittlefruh, and Izabella.
- Arigato! Lager
A lager made with Aomori-grown Hanafubuki rice, designed to keep a gentle sweetness while staying easy to drink. It is the kind of beer that fits well after work, with a light pilsner base and a clear local identity.
- Arigato! IPA
An IPA built with a five-hop blend of Warrior, Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Idaho 7, and Strata. As Tsugaru Brewing’s first IPA, it leans into bold bitterness while still emphasizing aromatic hop character.
Nomimonoya is the kind of beer pub where drinkers can slow down and compare styles side by side. This release is especially appealing because it brings together a saison, a lager, and an IPA in one place, making it easy to taste how rice choice and hop selection shape each beer.
The post also lists serving windows for June 7, 9, 11, 13, and 18. If the timing works, this looks like a good chance to catch the beers soon after arrival.
