Just a 1-minute walk from the south exit of Kokubunji Station, Beer Cafe Gambrinus offers a varied March 18 tap list centered on domestic breweries. Hours are 17:00-25:00, so it is an easy stop even after work.

The highlight of the day is the three newly tapped beers marked with "★".
Flora Fermentation's "Tayu (Porter w/ Buckwheat)", Number Nine's "#9 Hazy (Hazy Pale Ale)", and Blue Classic's "Ura Tiger Viva Haze (Hazy IPA)" open the lineup with a range that runs from roasty character to juicy hop expression.

The rest of the taps are strong as well. Minoh Beer "Nice Bitter", Shiga Kogen Beer "Shiga Kogen Helles!?", Nomcraft "Armadillo Outlaw", Ogna "India Pale Ale", Let's Beer Works "On My Way To The Moon", Repubrew "69 IPA", Shimanami Brewery "Shimanami Cat Strawberry Ice Cream", Hansharo Beer "Melon Weizen & Melon", and even Pilsner Urquell are on deck, making for an exceptionally broad style spread.

The Coming Soon list also teases Gambrinus "12°", Bernardaud "Dark 12°" (scheduled for delivery on 3/24), Miyazaki Hideji Beer "Kyushu Craft Kinkan", Noboru Brewing "Hodoku", Saikado Brewing "Hanami", Kyoto Brewing "Spring Whim", and Black Tide "Kearashi Ver.2.0". It is a lineup that leaves something to look forward to on the next visit as well.

The bar has no cover charge and is fully non-smoking, with both counter and table seating for an easygoing experience. If you are looking for "the drink to have right now" in Kokubunji, this is one place worth checking first.
