Isekadoya Beer’s Jakajan is now on tap

WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer specialist in Inagekaigan, Chiba, has announced a new tap featuring Isekadoya Beer’s Jakajan.

Jakajan is a clear golden West Coast IPA with 6.0% ABV and 50 IBU. Its hop aroma suggests citrus and tropical fruit, while the palate brings juicy citrus character followed by a crisp bitterness. A lingering hop finish gives the beer a sharp, refreshing profile that invites another sip.

The tap list also includes Guinness, KIRIN HEARTLAND, and Hoegaarden White. Other choices include West Coast Brewing’s W Prodigy, Belching Beaver’s Hop Maxxing Hazy IPA, Coronado’s Mermaid’s Red Amber Ale, Pizza Port’s Beach Crossing, and Deschutes’ Patagonia Provisions Organic Lager. The selection covers a broad range of styles, from hazy and West Coast IPAs to amber ale and lager.

MIHAMA BASE is located in Takasu, Mihama Ward, Chiba City, and operates as a brewery and craft beer specialist. The shop also offers takeaway bottles and cans under its general liquor retail license. It is open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and is closed on Tuesdays.

The venue will also hold an 11th-anniversary event from November 11 through 15. Its anniversary beer, MOHAWK AHEAD, will be released in two versions made from the same base wort: a West Coast Double IPA and a New England Double IPA (Hazy). Both cans and draft pours will be available.
