Marumugi Taps Five Beers Including COEDO Akane and a Hakuhou Peach Weizen
Craft beer bar Marumugi in Arakicho, Tokyo, has announced its September 12, 2026 tap list. The selection ranges from a floral American pale ale and a spicy rye IPA to a juicy peach weizen, a classic sakura beer, and a light hoppy session ale.
September 12 Tap List
Marumugi offers its daily beers in two serving sizes, with large pours starting at 1,200 yen and small pours at 900 yen. Some beers carry an additional charge.
COEDO’s “Akane” is a 5.0% American pale ale with floral and citrus aromas, restrained bitterness, and a gentle malt character. Its soft balance makes it a fitting choice as summer gives way to autumn.
For a more assertive pour, Baird Brewing’s “Brewer’s Nightmare Rye IPA” delivers 7.0% ABV, spicy rye character, and pronounced bitterness. It is a beer for drinkers who enjoy both hop intensity and the distinctive flavor of rye malt.
Minoh Beer’s “Kokusan Momo Weizen Hakuhou Ver.” is a 5.0% fruit weizen built around the juicy aroma of Hakuhou peaches. The fruit character meets the soft mouthfeel associated with wheat beer, creating a bright and aromatic option.
Mojiko Retro Beer’s “Sakura Beer” comes in at 5.5% and adds a more classic, malt-focused choice to the lineup. Hinomoto Brewing’s “Little Thing,” meanwhile, is a 4.5% light and hoppy session ale, suited to drinkers looking for a refreshing beer with tropical and citrus-like notes.
Located on the second floor of Ichibankan Building in Arakicho, Marumugi is a beer pub specializing in rotating craft beer selections from breweries across Japan. This tap list offers a broad tasting route, from aromatic pale ale and fruit-forward wheat beer to a bitter rye IPA and a classic dark lager-style beer. The bar is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays.
