Five beers on tap at Marumugi
Tokyo beer pub 地ビールバーまる麦 has published its craft beer lineup for September 14. Large pours start at ¥1,200 and small pours at ¥900, with additional charges applying to some selections. The pricing makes the lineup suitable both for a focused pint and for sampling several styles.
COEDO’s “Akane” leads the list. At 5.0% ABV, this American pale ale is described as gently aromatic, with a character reminiscent of an autumn breeze. It offers an approachable starting point for drinkers looking for a softer, balanced pale ale.
Baird Brewing’s “Brewer’s Nightmare Rye IPA” brings a stronger profile at 7.0% ABV. Spicy rye character and pronounced bitterness make it the choice for drinkers who enjoy a more assertive IPA with a substantial finish.
New to the lineup is Vector Brewing’s “Onedari White Sox,” a 6.5% tropical weizen. Its ripe-fruit aroma is paired with a smooth wheat-beer texture and a firm level of drinkability. The beer is presented as an especially expressive, fruit-forward option.
Mojiko Retro Beer’s “Sakura Beer” comes in at 5.5% ABV and is introduced as a beer born in Mojiko, with a Taisho-era romantic character. Rounding out the taps is Hinomoto Brewing’s “Little Thing,” a 4.5% session ale with a light, hoppy profile intended for easy drinking on a warm day.
