Hansharo Beer Brewing introduces limited "Kyou mo Manten Nitro" with Beer Girl
Hansharo Beer Brewing has introduced "Kyou mo Manten Nitro," a limited collaboration beer with Beer Girl, the web magazine and community devoted to beer. The release turns a passion-fruit-led Hazy IPA into a Nitro version, packaged in 350 ml cans and 10 L kegs.
Hansharo Beer Brewing, based in Izunokuni, Shizuoka, has introduced its limited beer "Kyou mo Manten Nitro," a collaboration with Beer Girl. The beer is built on the original "Kyou mo Manten," a Hazy IPA led by passion fruit, and then finished with nitrogen gas to create a softer texture and a finer, creamier head.
Hop bill and construction
The brewery highlights the use of the latest hop variety "Pink" together with its DIPHOP process, aiming for a bright, juicy profile with notes reminiscent of berries and tropical fruit. The product page also lists Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic Cryo, Sabro Cryo, and Simcoe in the hop bill, which adds depth to the fruit-forward character. It is available as a 350 ml Nitro-filled can and also in a 10 L keg format for hand-pump service. As with many Nitro beers, the brewery recommends shaking the can before a forceful pour to bring out the smooth foam.
Tasting notes
Official tasting notes describe a hazy, bright orange appearance. Aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit, and mango lead the nose, while the palate is described as tropical, juicy, and lively. The Nitro finish adds a creamy, smooth mouthfeel that stretches the fruitiness into a gentle finish. The brewery even suggests a food pairing of shrimp and celery stir-fry, along with the song "Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara," reinforcing the beer's calm, end-of-day mood.
Hansharo Beer Brewing is known not only for its core lineup, but also for a wide range of limited releases. This collaboration fits that approach well: a locally brewed Hazy IPA designed less as a loud statement and more as a rounded, satisfying beer for the end of the day.
