Kakuuchi Asakura publishes August tap list with five craft beers
Kakuuchi Asakura in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto, has posted its August tap list on Instagram. The five draft beers come from FARMENTATION, Yellow Beer Works, Inkhorn Brewing, CRAFT BEER BASE, and HINOBREWING, alongside a substantial sake selection.

Hop BroStarting with FARMENTATION, ZHENDAN SAISON is all about saison yeast. It finishes crisp and dry, throws off a nice aroma, and works really well with food.

Hop BroBasically, think dry and breezy. It is light on the palate but still aromatic, so it is an easy first pint.

Hop BroThis one is session IPA style, so the alcohol is relatively lighter, but the hop aroma still comes through. And “Ses” means session, not sesame.

MugiAnd there are 10 kinds of sake too, plus growler fills, and you can just stand and have one quick drink, right? If I go to Kyoto, I am absolutely bar-hopping inside Kakuchi Asakura.

Kakuuchi Asakura is a beer pub attached to a liquor shop in Higashi-Tenbincho, Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto. In its August Instagram update, the venue shared a lineup of five draft beers and 10 kinds of sake. With standing service available, the shop is set up for casual drinks as well as more deliberate tastings.
