July 29 tap list

CraftBeerSpot Hathor, a beer pub in Kyobashi, Osaka known for its 16 taps and house-smoked dishes, posted a lineup that moves comfortably from familiar classics to more characterful craft pours. The selection is broad enough for food pairing, but it also gives beer fans several clear directions to explore by aroma, malt depth, and hop profile.

Three pours to watch

`Brown Ale / Isekadoya Beer` is the recommended highlight. Built as an American brown ale, it layers malt richness and complexity with hop-driven brightness. The beer is described with deep brown color, caramel and chocolate malt aroma, plus orange and citrus notes from Citra and Amarillo. A firm bitterness keeps the sweetness in check, making it a rounded but still refreshing dark ale.

`NOMCLASSIC Porter / Nomcraft` comes from Nomcraft's NOMCLASSIC series, which pays tribute to enduring European beer styles. In this case, the beer is presented as an English porter with a gentler roast character and lighter body than a stout, so it should read as an approachable dark beer rather than a heavy one.

`Coffee IPA / Minoh Beer × Takamura` is a local Osaka collaboration with Takamura, a well-known coffee roaster. The brewery has reportedly worked with Takamura on bean selection and brewing details for several years. This version uses "COLOMBIA FOREST Pink Bourbon Creation," bringing delicate floral tones, caramel sweetness, and a subtle tropical edge to the IPA framework.

More on tap

The rest of the board covers a wide range of styles: `Yebisu / Sapporo Beer`, `Hoegaarden White / Hoegaarden`, `Kinoni Pale Ale Strata ver / Onidensetsu Beer`, `Ginga no Hop Batake / Good Hops`, `This Is The Way / Long Beach Beer Lab`, `Honkado IPA / Isekadoya Beer`, `Shimanami Super Lemon Sour / Shimanami Brewery`, `Nichinan Lemon Freshly Squeezed Session Hazy IPA / Miyazaki Hideji Beer`, and `Lime Session / Shonan Beer`.

Taken together, the list offers a clear snapshot of Hathor's appeal: a beer bar with enough range to move from crisp lagers and wheat beer to hop-forward ales, fruit-driven beers, and darker malt-led pours in a single visit.
