Beer Cellar Ichinomiya, in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, introduced its current lineup of eight taps. The shop is a craft-beer-focused beer pub, and its appeal lies in a setup that makes it easy to casually compare several different labels.
Among the taps this time is Shiga Kogen Beer's "Miyama Blonde". The style is Japanese saison, with an ABV of 6.5%. Next up is "SHINOGI -Peacharine West Coast IPA" from BLADE FACTORY BREWING in Seki City. This looks like a beer that should deliver the sharp, well-defined hop character typical of a West Coast IPA.
The local Tokai lineup also stands out. The selection includes Oni Densetsu's "Kinoni Pale Ale 'Mosaic Single Ver.'", "Sakura paw pads Sakura Paw Paddz" by Mya-brew in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, and Y.MARKET's "Juicy Delic" from Nagoya. The range runs from ales to Hazy IPA and Hazy Sour Ale, showing a broad spectrum of character. The ABVs are centered around 5.5% to 6.0%, making this a very approachable lineup.
Other offerings include Hoppukotan Brewing's "kunne -Kunne-", a Schwarz, Repubrew x Conix's "Conix Brut IPA", a brisk Brut IPA, and Baird Brewing's "Temple Garden Yuzu Ale", a Fruit Ale, ranging from dark styles to yuzu-infused beer. Because the lineup includes not only IPA styles that let you enjoy the outline of hops, but also saison, schwarz, and fruit ale, it's easy to choose according to your mood.
The post says the shop is open today from 12:00 to 20:00, that Wednesday is a regular closing day starting the following day, and that 4/29 (Wed) is a holiday but the shop will still be closed. In the Ichinomiya area, within walking distance of Meitetsu Myokoji Station, it's an easy place to stop by when you want to try multiple styles without any pressure.
