Beer pub Marumugi in Arakicho, Shinjuku, published its craft beer lineup for Aug. 17. The list includes five beers from Ise Kadoya Beer, Minoh Beer, Baird Brewing, and Ushitora Brewery, ranging from a light lager and a summer radler to an English bitter.

Marumugi, a beer pub in Arakicho, Shinjuku, published its craft beer lineup for Aug. 17. The house pour is priced at JPY 1,200+tax for a large glass and JPY 900+tax for a small glass, making it easy to sample the day’s selections.
The five beers listed were Yorimichi no Lager (Ise Kadoya Beer, Mie) at 4.5%, Meyer Lemon Radler (Ise Kadoya Beer, Mie) at 4.0%, Osaru IPA (Minoh Beer, Osaka) at 6.0%, Public House Bitter (Baird Brewing, Shizuoka) at 4.0%, and Seiryou Inryou Sake (Ushitora Brewery, Tochigi) at 4.5%. Several beers carried a +JPY 100 surcharge, and the lineup spans lager, IPA, radler, English bitter, and session IPA.
Yorimichi no Lager is presented as a light lager, while Meyer Lemon Radler is described as sweet-tart and refreshing for summer. Osaru IPA focuses on bright aroma and a crisp finish, and Seiryou Inryou Sake is positioned as a gulpable session IPA.
Public House Bitter was introduced as an Ordinary Bitter. It features a light body, gentle bitterness, and malty aroma, leaning toward the relaxed pace of a British pub.
Marumugi notes that Tuesdays and public holidays are closed from Dec. 5, 2024. The result is a concise but varied tap list that suits both a first pint and a slower second round.
