Tokumanjiri Hinomoto Beer, based in Kotoura Town, Tottori Prefecture, announced on Instagram its collaboration beer "Ringo Ale Jonagold ALE," made with Iwate-grown Jonagold apples. The post presents it as a beer created in partnership with HasKK Co., highlighting its bright aroma and crisp, clean finish.

It will be served at the Shibuya Cast. Garden event, held on April 29 from 10:00 to 20:30. Admission is free, making it a chance to enjoy an apple ale in the middle of Shibuya. The post's hashtags included "#localfest," "#shibuyacast," "#ShibuyaCast," "#appleale," and "#craftbeer," suggesting a project that connects local ingredients with an urban event.

Tokumanjiri Hinomoto Beer began brewing in 2022 at the izakaya "Sake House Gin" in Kotoura Town. According to its official website, the brewery is located on a site that once housed a juice factory in the late Meiji era, with a history of producing ramune, coffee, and orange juice. Today, it brews craft beer there and aims to offer everyday drinks that make use of local ingredients.

This apple ale can be seen as a beer from a brewery with that background, bringing out the appeal of fruit for an event in the city center. Within the context of a local festival, attention will also be on how ingredients from different regions are expressed in the beer served that day.
