New DIPA “Tsuyoki no, Nama.” Tapped at Namacha Stand in Shiinamachi
At the brewpub “Namacha Stand Shiinamachi” in Tokyo’s Shiinamachi, NAMACHA Brewing’s new release, “Tsuyoki no, Nama.”, has been tapped. Built around an 8.0% ABV Double IPA, the announced tap lineup includes five house beers and one guest beer, offering something for everyone from IPA fans to lager drinkers.
An Instagram post from Namacha Stand Shiinamachi announced the tapping of the new beer “Tsuyoki no, Nama.” The style is Double IPA, and the ABV is 8.0%.
The post describes it as an evolution of the existing “Namachan no IPA.” In addition to a clean bitterness, it is said to feature a sweet aroma reminiscent of fruit candy and strawberries, along with a subtle dank character. Despite the higher alcohol content, it aims to create drinkability through a balance of aroma and bitterness.
The tap list for the day is centered on the house brewery, NAMACHA Brewing. The lineup spans herb-and-spice beers, Brut-style beers, smoked beers, and even a Dortmunder, making the range of styles especially broad. In addition, the guest slot features a sour IPA from NEKOBEER, ensuring there is also an acidic option available.
