AQUWA brew works Releases April 24 Tap List; Early Pour of Hime Beer Collaboration “Konatsu Hime”
The brewpub AQUWA brew works in Minami-Urawa has announced its planned hours and tap list starting Friday, April 24. Alongside house-brewed pilsner, IPA, and black beer, the collaboration with Hime Beer, “Konatsu Hime,” will also be poured early.

Hop BroSchwarz is a German-style black beer, and even though it looks deep in color, it's often surprisingly crisp on the palate. AQUWA's Demekin Black is perfect for comparing against it, and the other one, Masa Black, is a peanut stout, so even within black beers the roasted aroma takes a different direction.
MugiOhhh! Black beer tasting comparisons look heavy, but their personalities are totally different. I want to line up two glasses right now and stare them down!
Hop BroAnd the guest beers are strong too. Kyoto Brewing's Share Oatmeal Stout and Mariko Belgian IPA are on the list, so the nice part is that you can enjoy personalities from outside the brewery as well as the house beers.

Hop BroExactly. Since it often has yeast-derived aromas and spicy notes, it gives IPA's hop character a different expression. And this time, the Hime Beer collaboration Konatsu Hime is also being poured early; it's a fruit ale made with hyuganatsu juice, so it should have a bright citrus lift.
