The beer pub Craft Beer Server Land, located underground in Kagurazaka 2-chome, announced its beers on tap for Monday, April 6. This time’s lineup consists of two kegs. Tokorozawa Beer’s “The Cannonball” and Y.MARKET BREWING’s “Hysteric IPA” are on offer.
- “The Cannonball” is Tokorozawa Beer’s flagship IPA, brewed continuously since the brewery’s founding. At 6.5% ABV and 50 IBU, it is said to feature a refreshing orange-like aroma and a sharp, powerful bitterness.
- “Hysteric IPA” is Y.MARKET BREWING’s signature American IPA. Built with a solid 7.0% ABV and 77 IBU, it layers hop character reminiscent of passion fruit, citrus, grapefruit, lychee, and green apple.
Both are clearly IPA-forward beers, and the pairing makes it easy to appreciate the differences in aroma expression and the quality of the bitterness. Rather than a casual quick pint, this is a lineup better suited to people who want to take their time and appreciate each tap’s character. Enjoying the changing guest beers while relaxing in the underground space is also part of this shop’s appeal. For a night when you want to drink IPA in Kagurazaka, these are two kegs worth remembering.
