Aozora Brewery will open a new venue, W&B -WAGYU & CRAFT BEER- by AOZORA BREWERY, on the first floor of Canal City Hakata East Building. The mall’s official information says the store is scheduled to open on September 4 and will operate as a steak and beer bar.
Based in Tenyamachi, Hakata, Aozora Brewery was launched in July 2022. It currently runs two locations, Hakata Tenyamachi and Kaizuka Station Stand, and regularly introduces guest beers through its shops. The new opening brings the brewery’s beer to a much larger commercial setting.
The brewery’s beers were originally developed in collaboration with Asunaro Brewery, a pioneer of Fukuoka’s brewpub scene. In recent competitions, Aozora Brewery also earned multiple recognitions, including four entries at the 2025 International Beer Cup and a gold award for ONE craft at JGBA 2025.
