Aozora Brewery, located in Fukuoka’s Hakata Ward, began operating terrace seating in front of its Taproom on September 7, 2026. The new outdoor area offers guests another way to enjoy the brewery’s craft beers in an open and casual atmosphere.
The brewery operates under the concept of bringing more craft beer culture to Fukuoka. Located in the Tenya-machi area of Hakata, the brewpub combines on-site brewing with a food and beverage experience. The brewery received its brewing license in June 2022 and also operates a second location at Kaizuka Station.
The Tenya-machi location regularly serves four original beers, along with seasonal releases and guest beers. Its core lineup includes TENYA PALE ALE, known for its floral and full-bodied aroma; TENYA IPA, which offers a firm bitterness; TENYA WHEAT ALE, with a rounded and smooth profile; and TENYA SESSION IPA, a lighter and easy-drinking beer.
Inside the brewpub, guests can view fermentation tanks while enjoying their drinks. The food menu includes beer-friendly favorites such as pizza, sausages, and fish and chips, as well as Kyushu cuisine and fresh seafood from a related restaurant.
The new terrace seating gives visitors more opportunities to enjoy Aozora Brewery, whether stopping by after work or taking a break while exploring Hakata. The Tenya-machi location is open from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays and holidays, and noon to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. The brewery is closed irregularly.
