New tap

Tsumugi, a craft beer pub one minute from the west exit of Minami-Kashiwa Station, offers eight rotating taps with a focus on Japanese craft beer. It also has a tasting menu, so guests can try unfamiliar beers before choosing a pint.

The latest tap is Butterfly Brewery’s “Sugiyama Jogakuen University Collaboration Peach Hazy IPA.” The post describes it as a peach beer made together with students from Sugiyama Jogakuen University in Nagoya, giving the beer a clear collaboration story and a fruit-forward profile.

About the shop

Tsumugi keeps things bright and casual, and it is easy to visit alone after work or for a relaxed weekend beer session. The food menu is intentionally light and built to support the beer, so the tap list stays at the center of the experience.

Families and children are welcome too, which makes the place feel less like a strict beer bar and more like a neighborhood stop for a quick drink or a slow tasting flight. For drinkers in Minami-Kashiwa, this is a neat chance to try a peach Hazy IPA with local and academic roots.
