Beppu Brewery’s Oni IPA is now available

Tsumugi, a craft beer pub in Minami-Kashiwa, Kashiwa, has announced a new tap featuring Oni IPA from BEPPU BREWERY. The guest beer takes its name and concept from the oni, or demon, associated with Beppu’s famous hot-spring hells.

Oni IPA is built around a refreshing hop aroma, followed by assertive bitterness and a substantial flavor profile. It is a good choice for drinkers who enjoy hop-forward beers and want an IPA with a clear, satisfying presence. Beppu Brewery currently describes the beer as a West Coast IPA.

Based in Beppu, Oita, Beppu Brewery creates beers connected to the character of the hot-spring city. Its lineup also includes lighter pilsners and beers made with local kabosu citrus, while Oni IPA takes a more powerful and bitter direction.

Located near Minami-Kashiwa Station, Tsumugi is a beer pub where guests can explore a rotating selection of craft beers on tap in a relaxed setting. The newly tapped Oni IPA is worth tasting slowly, beginning with its hop aroma and allowing its bitterness and flavor to develop as the beer warms.

Tap availability can change, so guests may want to check with the pub before visiting. For craft beer fans in the Kashiwa area looking for a robust West Coast IPA, this new pour at Tsumugi is one to watch.
