A local brewery joins Niiza’s major community festival

Niiza Craft announced via Instagram that it will set up a booth at the Niiza City Commerce Festival. The event will be held around Niiza City Hall on October 11, from 10:00 to 17:00, and October 12, from 10:00 to 15:00. The program includes food and retail booths from local businesses, stage performances, a local products exhibition, and activities hosted by the Niiza Chamber of Commerce Youth Division.

Founded in July 2021, Niiza Craft was created with the goal of helping revitalize the city through beer brewed in Niiza. The brewery describes itself as Niiza’s first craft beer brand and focuses on local production, sustainability, and flavors connected to the area.

Award-winning beers may be among the highlights

Niiza Craft’s lineup includes NAKAJI’S PALE ALE, NAKAJI’S IPA, WEIZEN, and HELLES. At the 2026 Japan Great Beer Awards, both NAKAJI’S PALE ALE and NAKAJI’S IPA received silver awards. The brewery has also highlighted its use of Niiza-grown carrot leaves as a seasonal herb-like ingredient, adding a distinctly local touch to its beers.

Details such as the beers available at the festival and serving format should be confirmed through Niiza Craft’s official channels and on-site announcements. For beer lovers, the festival offers an appealing way to discover a local brewery while exploring Niiza’s food, businesses, and community culture.

The festival venues include the Niiza City Hall parking area. Because parking is limited, visitors are encouraged to use public transportation or bicycles. See the official city event notice and Niiza Craft’s website for further information.
