At Craft Beer Spot Hathor in Kyobashi, Osaka, the draft beer lineup for May 23 was announced. The shop, which opened on March 20, 2015, is a beer pub serving craft beer from 16 taps, along with house-smoked dishes. Once again, the selection features a wide spread of styles, making it easy to compare different beers side by side.

Today's Beers on Tap

- Yasato / Oyama G Beer
A beer brewed with Yamadanishiki sake rice grown in cooperation with local residents. Its fruity, spicy aroma is layered with a soft mouthfeel and gentle sweetness, and its 7% ABV gives it noticeable weight.
- Lupulin Nectar / Wye Market
Defined by tropical-juice-like juiciness and a smooth mouthfeel. Despite its heavy haze and plenty of hops, the bitterness is kept in check.
- Old Rasputin / North Coast
An imperial stout with fine foam and a substantial body. It offers rum-like aromas and rich dark-chocolate depth, making it a fit for those seeking a robust black beer.

Today's Recommended Beers

- Miller Pond Pale Ale / Deschutes
Citrus and floral notes, along with smooth caramel character, are in good balance, and its straightforward single-hop drinkability is part of the appeal.
- Shine Muscat Ale / Island Brewery
A fruit ale made with off-spec Shine Muscat grapes from Nagasaki. The richness from frozen-aged grapes adds a unique character that makes this year's version stand out.

In addition, the lineup spans everything from standard lagers to IPAs and dark beers, making it easy to choose a first glass based on your mood. With options ranging from light and refreshing to rich stout, it is the kind of place that works well for a night of food and smoked dishes.
