On April 8, Bordie's Good Beer announced its new beer, "Orange Hill," in its "Fresh Release!" post. The style is Saison w/ Natsu Mikan. True to the brewery's Tokyo Chuo Ward base, it brings the character of its ingredients to the forefront while keeping the drinking experience clean and polished.

The key feature this time is that the brewery members themselves harvested the summer mikan that had grown in the garden of an acquaintance's parents' home and used it in the beer. According to the brewery, the peel was slowly dried over several weeks in a drying net to bring out its aroma and mild bitterness. The base uses CRISP PILS, WHEAT, and RYE malts, with AMARILLO hops. A dry saison backbone is layered with the soft spiciness from rye and the clean bitterness of the dried summer mikan peel.

The specs are IBU 38, SRM 3, ABV 4.5%. The description says a refreshing citrus aroma rises through the nose after swallowing, suggesting a design focused on lightness. The public post also included a link to the official site as the place to buy it. This is a release worth watching as a seasonal fruit saison from late spring into early summer.
