Osaka beer pub `torne_craftbeer` posted on September 2 that it had opened two new kegs and is now taking reservations for a NY-style pastrami sandwich.
The bar is currently running `Lager, Please.` from August 24 to September 6, a two-week lager-focused program at torne. The lineup shown in the post spans clean lagers, saisons, and even lambic, giving beer fans a wide range to choose from.
The beers mentioned in the post include `Postsourism #6.` (Inkhorn Brewing), `Can I Kick It ?.` (Wu-Chaw-Teng Brew), `Schimmer.` (Passific Brewing), `Peninsula Saison.` (Yorocco Beer), `Rice and Wind.` (Y.Market Brewing), `Vinohradská 12.` (Vinohradský pivovar), `Buncho 2026 #3.` (Inkhorn Brewing), `Ryukyu Pride.` (Mahow Brew + Craft Beer House BAKU), `Dekakōn Tawaki.` (Flora Fermentation + umbrella RiB), and `Winter Lambiek.` (Oud Beersel).
Food-wise, the shop is also taking reservations for its `NY-Style Pastrami Sandwich`. It uses 150g of house-made pastrami made from USDA Choice brisket, smoked for three weeks and steamed for about four hours, then served on rye bread with mustard and pickles. Swiss cheese can be added, and pint-size beers are 300 yen off to encourage pairing.
Located in Kita Ward, Osaka, at TEN ROCK 102, the pub is a good stop for anyone who wants to explore lager-heavy pours with a substantial sandwich on the side.
