The highlight for March 23 is a collaboration lager celebrating the 11th anniversary
On this day, Craft Beer Spot Hathor will tap "Kyobashi Helles ~Suspended Sentence~ (T.Y. Harbor × Hathor)."
To celebrate Hathor's 11th anniversary, this beer was brewed at T.Y. Harbor in Tennozu Isle, Tokyo, and is introduced as a "fake Helles" made with Nugget, Saaz, and Hallertau Blanc. The description also labels it as a "gulping beer," making it easy to place as either your first pint or a beer to keep drinking through the night.
Three recommended beers are ideal for side-by-side tasting in different directions
The day's "recommended beers" are the following three.
- Chimay Blue (Scourmont Abbey)
- Tomodachi Saison (Himitsu Beer × Tone × Kemu Bar)
- Peanut Butter Milk Stout (Belching Beaver)
Chimay Blue has a hefty 9% body, with caramel notes, fruitiness, and spice to enjoy. In contrast, Tomodachi Saison is a unique beer brewed with chipotle and lime, combining smokiness and refreshment. Belching Beaver's milk stout is a dessert-like pint with a prominent peanut-butter-derived roasted aroma. From lager to high-ABV beers and black beers, the appeal is that you can choose across a wide range on the same day.
The 16-tap lineup makes it easy to find your "next pint" in Kyobashi
The tap list includes domestic and overseas brands such as Shimanami Brewery, Minoh Beer, Ise Kadoya Beer, Minami Shinshu Beer, Deux de Ciel!, and Trademark. With yuzu whites, WC IPAs, and high-alcohol beers also available, it is easy to mix and match with companions who prefer different styles.
Hathor has been operating in Kyobashi, Osaka since 2015. In addition to 16 taps, house-smoked items are another hallmark, and it is easy to create a flow from a light lager to aromatic ales and stouts. As it moves into its 12th year after the 11th anniversary, today's lineup neatly reflects where the bar stands now.
