Yokohama Beer Joins DREAMBEER, Adding Yokohama Lager for Enjoyment at Home
Yokohama Beer Brewery has joined the members-only beer delivery service "DREAMBEER." The lineup will add "Yokohama Lager," making it possible to enjoy craft beer from Yokohama at home with a household server.
The members-only beer delivery service "DREAMBEER" has added Yokohama Beer Brewery. Founded in 1999 and based in Yokohama, Kanagawa, the brewery has continued making craft beer that connects people while working with local producers. It has also won awards at international competitions, and while rooted in classic beer styles, it pursues both drinkability and individuality.
The brand now available through DREAMBEER is "Yokohama Lager." It is a beer that combines the crisp, refreshing drinkability typical of a lager with the richness derived from malt, and is said to feature an aroma and bitterness reminiscent of citrus from hops. Designed so that its umami deepens the more you drink, it is also recommended with meat dishes. Being able to pour it from a home server is one of DREAMBEER's strengths, bringing a glass that feels close to what you would drink at the brewery to the everyday dining table.
Yokohama is also a city said to be the birthplace of Japan's beer industry. Yokohama Beer, which grew up in that place, joining DREAMBEER, which delivers craft beers from around the country, seems likely to create an opportunity to feel Yokohama's beer culture more closely. By connecting the city's history with modern ways of drinking, the ways to enjoy craft beer will broaden even further.
