Event Highlights

Kotokoto Beer will join KBS Kyoto’s 75th anniversary event at KBS Hall in Kyoto on June 27, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:30. At the venue, the brewery plans to provide draft beer service and special bottled beer sales. Admission is free.

The event brings together KBS Kyoto’s TV program SUNNY TIME and the radio show Moriwaki Kenji no Saturday Stadium for their first joint broadcast. A local food market, described as a Kyoto-themed "delicious" market, will also be held inside the hall.

About Kotokoto Beer

Kotokoto Beer is a microbrewery based in Yamashiro-cho, Kizugawa City, in southern Kyoto. It opened in May 2022 and draws on brewing experience originally built in sake production. The brewery emphasizes hands-on, small-batch production and a careful, craft-driven approach.

Its philosophy is rooted in the ingredients and landscape of the Yamashiro area, with an emphasis on beers that pair well with food. The brewery has also positioned its beers as companions to everyday meals, aiming to bring out the character of both the beer and the dish.

Why This Appearance Matters

This appearance places a local Kyoto brewery inside a major broadcast anniversary event, creating a meeting point for live programming, regional food, and craft beer. For visitors, it is a chance to enjoy Kotokoto Beer in a setting that combines media, food culture, and local community energy.

From Kizugawa in southern Kyoto, Kotokoto Beer has continued to build a style centered on balance, food pairing, and careful brewing. On KBS Kyoto’s milestone day, that approach will be available directly at the venue.
