AIM Brew LAB, which brews in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture, announced in a notice dated May 9 that it would begin shipping its new release, '#5 PROVE (Apricot Juicy Ale).' Shipments had been adjusted for some products due to delays in material arrivals, but with materials now expected to arrive around May 16, the brewery says it will resume shipping gradually from around May 18, including the new release.

The new release this time is a limited style commemorating AIM Brew LAB.'s 2nd anniversary. It is a fruit ale that layers a gorgeous aromatic hop character with the rich fragrance of apricot and a juicy fruitiness. It is described as having a soft mouthfeel, a subtle tartness, and a refreshing finish. The style designation is Apricot Juicy Ale, and it is a beer that emphasizes fruit character while keeping the drinking experience light.

In the current lineup announced at the same time, the brewery also reintroduced its regular beers, '#1 THE BEGINNING (DDH SMaSH IPA)' and '#2 ABSOLUTE SENSE (Hazy IPA).' #1 is known for aromas reminiscent of white grape and grapefruit derived from Nelson Sauvin, along with a dry, clean finish. #2 is described as having bright aromas suggesting tropical fruit and citrus, plus a mellow bitterness.

The brewery, which has its headquarters and brewhouse on the shores of Lake Saiko in Fujikawaguchiko Town, has been pursuing locally rooted craft beer while giving its small but carefully selected lineup a distinct personality. As a limited anniversary release, #5 PROVE is likely to draw attention as a beer that adds a different kind of fruit character from the two core offerings, and its future rollout will be one to watch.
